Through a company outreach program with the "Sustainable Building futures" department at Coventry University, I was commissioned for some unpaid work overhauling a website for the company "One Call Plumbing and Heating". Their original website was what I would consider Web 1.0, with large paragraphs of text inserted as images by previous web developers in plain HTML and CSS files. With this project, I upgraded the customer's website to a Wordpress install to allow for easier editing of the site in the future, and give the customer the ability to edit their own site in the future without the need for a web developer. I used an existing theme fro the internet and re-worked it to the customers need to save time and work that would have been involved with designing a new theme from scratch.
